Metro Cup

Home

In 1972 the first UCF rowing team was established under the guidance of Coach Dennis Kamrad. Rowing is one of the earliest athletic activities on campus, and was the first UCF program to win a state championship in 1973 and a regional championship in 1972. Since then, both the men's and women's teams have sent UCF rowers to national, international and Olympic events.

This tradition still lives on today with the UCF Men's Rowing Club.

Interested in owning a piece of the club? We have old oars that are no longer used by the team up for sale.  Click here for more information.

Recruiting: If you're interested in joining the club, send us an email and we'll let you know everything you need to start. Check out our flyer for the next Info Session for interested rowers. Come out and see what it is all about.
