Welcome to the Virtual Boathouse
In 1972 the first UCF rowing team was established under the guidance of Coach Dennis Kamrad. Rowing is one of the earliest athletic activities on campus, and was the first UCF program to win a state championship in 1973 and a regional championship in 1972. Since then, both the men's and women's teams have sent UCF rowers to national, international, and Olympic events.
This tradition still lives on today with the UCF Men's Crew Club
With our 40th Anniversary in 2012 we will be celebrating this accomplishment with a Banquet at Rangetsu in Maitland. This will be held on March 3, 2012 the evening of the Metro Cup. The cost is $50 per plate and all proceeds benefit the club. If you're able to make it please RSVP with the club via email. More information can be found here.

Recruiting: On campus recruiting has begin with the beginning of the Semester and incoming new students. If you're interested in joining the club, send us an email and we'll let you know everything you need to start.
Fundraising: We are getting shirts, hats and 40th Anniversary gear made up and should be available after November 1st. Keep watching for updates so you can get some before they run out!

| December 7, 2011 | The location of the 40th Anniversary celebration has been determined, and events have been chosen! The celebration will take place the weekend of March 3, 2012 the same weekend as the Metro Cup. More information can be found here. Everyone is welcome to attend! |
